Terms of Service

To use the Services you must complete onboarding and KYC verification. Sole proprietors may onboard with a CNIC; registered companies must provide an NTN or incorporation documents, along with valid Pakistani bank account details. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your account credentials secure.

Rapid Gateway provides payment acceptance (cards, Raast, JazzCash, easypaisa, bank transfer, QR and USDT crypto in early access), settlement to your local bank account, online invoicing and related merchant tools. Features, payment methods and availability may change over time as the platform evolves and in line with applicable regulation.

You agree to use the Services only for lawful business activity and to comply with the rules of the State Bank of Pakistan, the card networks and applicable law. You must not use the Services for prohibited or high-risk businesses (including but not limited to illegal goods or services, unlawful gambling, fraud, money laundering, or any activity prohibited by the card networks or SBP). We may request additional information or suspend access where activity appears non-compliant.

Applicable Merchant Discount Rates (MDR) and any other fees are set out on our pricing page or in your merchant agreement. Approved transactions are settled to your linked Pakistani bank account on a T+1 basis for cards and wallets, and in real time for Raast, net of applicable fees. Settlement timelines may vary on weekends, bank holidays or due to bank-side or network delays.

Refunds to end customers are handled by merchants according to their own refund policies; Rapid Gateway facilitates reversals in accordance with bank and payment network rules. Chargebacks and disputes are governed by the relevant network rules and may carry handling fees. See our Refund Policy for full details.

Rapid Gateway operates under the State Bank of Pakistan framework and processes card data on PCI-DSS-ready infrastructure with 3-D Secure and encryption in transit. You are responsible for the security of your own systems, API keys and customer interactions, and for complying with applicable data-protection obligations.

The Rapid Gateway name, logo, software, APIs and content are the property of Rapid Gateway and its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Services for your business during the term of your agreement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rapid Gateway is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for losses caused by banks, payment networks, incorrect details supplied by you, force majeure events, or third-party service failures. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Either party may terminate the agreement in accordance with the merchant agreement. We may suspend or terminate access where required by law or regulation, on suspected fraud or compliance breaches, or for non-payment. On termination, outstanding settlements are processed subject to risk, chargeback and regulatory holds.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and the courts of Pakistan have jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to any arbitration provisions in your merchant agreement.

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes take effect on publication on this page. Continued use of the Services after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
